WE'VE MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION! 

 

On October 4th, ETHAN opened its new location at 117 W. Houston

Street in Jasper. The following community partners made this move possible:

Advantage Plus Homecare, AccuCare Medical Products, Morton Heating

and Air Conditioning, and Burleson Plumbing who provided manpower to

move medical equipment, install carpet, build bookshelves and the labor

and materials to install a bathroom sink and hot water heater.

What is the East Texas Health Access Network (ETHAN)?
The ETHAN is a non-profit, 5-county rural health network whose service area
includes Jasper, Newton, Sabine, San Augustine and Tyler counties. 
Currently, consumers representing each of the counties, and more than 20
agencies and health care organizations participate in the network. 

 

The network assists community members by helping them to access the
services they need and identify available resources by providing the following:

Health fairs and screenings for hypertension, diabetes and cholesterol

 

bullet

Recruitment and Retention: identifying Locum Tenens to provide relief

           services and assistance for healthcare professionals interested in

           relocating to East Texas

 

bullet

Practice Management Technical Assistance: providing physician practices
and clinics with low-cost training to improve administrative functions

 

bullet

Revolving Loan Fund: identifying funding and reimbursement opportunities

           for healthcare providers

Monthly Network Meetings

The ETHAN collaborative meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m.  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in these meetings.  Guest speakers provide information about resources available within the Network’s service area.  Meetings are held in even months at Dickerson Memorial Hospital and in odd months at CHRISTUS Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
