Community Input:

Shelby County has one hospital which has changed ownership numerous times over the last few years.  This year they affiliated with Nacogdoches Medical Center, a Tenet Institution.  Hopefully this will add some stability to the county.  As with other counties, it is difficult to get people in the track of care with local services.  Transportation is an issue, also.
