Dickerson Memorial Hospital reopened earlier this year so Jasper County now has two hospitals in an area that may be unable to support two institutions. Jasper is the hub of the East Texas Health Access Network, which is comprised of Jasper, Newton, Sabine, San Augustine, and Tyler counties.
