Welcome!

Welcome to the East Texas Rural Access Program (ETRAP), one of the largest community health initiatives in the United States. The goal of ETRAP is to increase access to care for the medically underserved in Texas' Public Health Regions 4 and 5. The project is funded by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, administered by the Penn State College of Medicine, Rural Health Policy Center, and matched with local resources. We invite you to collaborate with us in this groundbreaking program. To find out how you can participate, contact the lead agency for the grant, the East Texas Area Health Education Center. For more information on the specific projects featured here, we encourage you to communicate directly with the key contact listed under each project.
